Many people are just too scared to take on a renovation project or even a refurbishment project. The other aspect is that you can have your home exactly as you want it with no compromise on taste or style. However good a condition a new house is, it rarely matches your taste one hundred per cent, whereas a renovation project offers you a blank canvas for the house of your dreams.
